About Us
Dear Friends,
Welcome to Wild Iris Books and thank you for dropping in!
In July of 2009, the current owners of Wild Iris Books (Cheryl Krauth, Erica Merrell and Bernadette Carter) penned a new mission statement.
It’s short. It’s simple. And it’s the truth Cheryl, Erica, Bernadette hold within as, each day, they look for new and more expansive ways to make the world a better place.
“In order to better serve the community, Wild Iris Books will forever be a safe and sacred space for all.
Our pledge is to support, nurture and encourage all who seek spiritual, emotional, mental and physical development, guidance and healing.
We will always choose to offer those products and services we believe to be of the highest and best good for the universe, earth and community”.

“All people, all living things, are part of the earth life, and so are sacred. No one of us stands higher or lower than any other. Only justice can assure balance; only ecological balance can sustain freedom. Only in freedom can that fifth sacred thing we call spirit flourish in its full diversity. To honor the sacred is to create conditions in which nourishment, sustenance, habitat, knowledge, freedom, and beauty can thrive. To honor the sacred is to make love possible. To this we dedicate our curiosity, our will, our courage, our silences, and our voices. To this we dedicate our lives.”
