Hola Amigos! I write to you after 7 days of jungle spa… an environment rich in plant wisdom and one in contrast with this internet cafe. It is a world of ancient ways nearly lost amidst the intrusion of the western world. Yet, many gringos do find their way here who have nothing on their minds than to open their hearts and to heal their lives with the wisdom of the plants and the shamans here.

I have been on such a journey, being taught by the plants as much as the shamans. It is an experiential classroom, drinking in a green drink each morning, filled with songs and prayers from the shaman, hitting my empty stomach more easily now than the first two days. My body is uniting with the ally of tobacco and the other plants mixed with the tobacco… either pinon negro or pinon blanco. Each plant brings a particular energy matrix into my body not only to clear it of unwanted patterns, but to strengthen it, to create a pattern of protection, and to leave the wisdom of the plant matrix for extracting bad energies from others. The plants teach through their energy matrix, beyond the intellect us westerners are always trying to make things work with. This becomes a part of each person who is willing to dedicate themselves to this path. This is the foundation for other plant diets that lay other matrixes into a persons body.

The plant diets and heat have been the perfect spa combo to shrink my body while here. That is one thing you can count on for sure with this regiman. I can see my amigos shapeshifting before my eyes as we each dedicate ourselves to each day of working with our plant allies. It is more than weight loss… it is the loss of old parts of egos and lives that no longer need to be with us… it is as if we are more of ourselves as a result of the work. Things are melted away in the jungle and left behind. These are things that we celebrate letting go of. For when that happens, more of our own light brightens and we are lighter in every way.

Soon I will be back in the states uploading pictures and telling you more stories. This is my installation for the day. Until next I write, may you stop long enough from your day to stop and greet the plants all around you and ask them what they might say to you today. Ask them what they might teach you and if they have any secrets to tell… for I can tell you, the most definitely know things you should know. Breathe in the smell of a sweet rose and open your heart. That is all there is to do!
